Ravin, Victoria - Calculus &amp;amp;amp;amp; College Algebra Instructor
Victoria Ravin teaches Calculus to scholars. Prior to joining the Sci Academy team, Ms. Ravin taught Geometry and Algebra II in Boston, MA. Ms. Ravin holds a BA in Psychology at Northeastern University and a MA in Teaching at Northeastern University.
Ms. Ravin leads the Northeastern Advisory.

Shiu, Jane - Computer Literacy Instructor / Director of Technology
Jane Shiu joined the Sci Academy team in 2010 as a teacher in the science department. During the 2010-2011 school year, she led the juniors to the highest scores in the district for the science Graduate Exit Exam. Every junior passed, with 92% scoring a Basic or above. Before joining Sci Academy, Ms. Shiu taught 8th grade science at Opelousas Junior High School in St. Landry Parish as a Teach For America Corps Member in the South Louisiana region. Ms. Shiu holds a BA in Public Policy and International Studies from the University of Chicago.

Stoudt, Evan - Algebra I Instructor/ 9th Grade Culture Dean
Evan Stoudt teaches Algebra I to freshman at Sci Academy. In his role as Freshman Dean, Mr. Stoudt supports 9th grade scholars, teachers, and advisors to develop and maintain a positive, challenging, and rewarding academic experience for the class of 2018. Before joining the Sci Academy team, Mr. Stoudt taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade math as a Teach For America corps member at Livaudais Middle School and Harriet Tubman. Mr Stoudt received a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and The Business of Music from Loyola University of New Orleans.
Mr Stoudt leads the Loyola Wolves Advisory, Class of 2016.
Ward, Donna - Director of Co-Curricular Programming
Donna Ward serves as the Director of Co-curricular Programming at Sci Academy. In her position, she develops and coordinates all co-curricular programming, including electives, extracurriculars, field trips, and special events. Previously, she served as the Executive Assistant to Ben Marcovitz, the CEO of Collegiate Academies. Before joining the team at Sci Academy, she worked at the Ogden Museum of Southern Art, where she restructured the museum store operations. Ms. Ward also worked at the Baker Institute for Public Policy as the Development Specialist, where she served as a grant writer and coordinated special events. She holds a BA in American Studies from Tulane University.

Yoo, Monica - Speech II Instructor
Monica Yoo works as a Speech II instructor, helping to prepare scholars for the English II EOC. Before joining the Sci Academy team, Ms. Yoo worked as an English teacher at International High School of New Orleans. Ms. Yoo has a BFA in Sculpture and a minor in Art History from University of Nebraska at Omaha.
Ms. Yoo leads the Syracuse Advisory.
Zeininger, Michael - English I Instructor
In his role as a Reading and Writing Intervention teacher at Sci Academy, Mike Zeininger helps scholars who have low reading levels at the beginning of the year make huge gains and become more confident in all of their content classes. Before Hurricane Katrina, Mr. Zeininger worked in the film industry as an assistant director. Afterwards, he decided to become an educator in order to make New Orleans (and the world) a better place. Mr. Zeininger has a BA in Communication Arts and Film.
